The Women’s Philanthropy Board (WPB), the flagship division of the Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies in the College of Human Sciences at Auburn University, was organized in Spring 2002. Women’s Philanthropy Board members and the organization are committed to inspiring, educating, and enabling individuals to:

·       Develop their full leadership potential

·       Achieve independence as financial donors and decision-makers

·       Serve as mentors for future generations of philanthropists

·       Broaden the base of financial support for the College of Human Sciences

A key component of WPB’s mission is to practice collective philanthropy by providing student scholarships and programmatic grants to the College of Human Sciences. A part of every WPB membership gift goes directly to this annual giving. To date, WPB has provided over $1,085,000 in the form of student scholarships and faculty, program, and project grants within the College of Human Sciences.

$5,000 Visionary/Phil Sr. Member (yearly)

$1,000 Benefactor/Phil Member (yearly)

$500 Associate/Phil Jr. Member ages 35 and younger (yearly)

$500 Spouse/Partner Member Add-On (addition to any membership) (yearly)

Corporate and Business Partnerships:

$5,000 Corporate Partner (yearly)

$1,500 Business Partner (yearly)
